Celebrating Veteran’s Day 2024 with Killer Coffee

This past Monday, November 11, 2024, we celebrated Veteran’s Day, a special day to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

At Killer Coffee, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all veterans who have defended and contributed to the freedom and sovereignty of this country. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.

Did you know that one of our team members, Derek, is a veteran? He proudly served in the Armed Forces for 10 years and brings the same dedication and discipline to our team every day.

We’re also proud to call Jordan Foley a close friend and an extended part of our Killer Coffee family. Jordan is the founder of Let’s Chow, a nonprofit that empowers veterans to transition back into civilian life by helping them launch entrepreneurial ventures in the food industry. Jordan, who continues to serve in the Navy, is an incredible individual making a positive impact both in and out of uniform.

This year, we had the incredible opportunity to share our journey as a veteran-owned business during an interview with NBC South Florida. It was an honor to reflect on our beginnings and highlight how our passion for specialty coffee has been shaped by the values and perseverance that veterans embody.
